San Romolo is situated in the heart of Tuscany, becoming the ideal starting point for discovering the region. San Romolo is a old stone house, it is recently renovated and has a pleasant Tuscan style. It is located near Tignano’s Hamlet, near all the most important towns: renaissance Florence, eternal Volterra, medieval San Gimignano, Certaldo, Siena, Pisa, Lucca etc. in few km you can visit everything.

 

 

The house is surrounded by beautiful countryside with vineyards, olives groves, woods and paths where you can go for pleasant walk. In the garden there is a large swimming pool (6×12) with fantastic views of the hills around the property. The pool is located lower than the house, in a private sheltered corner of the garden. It overlooks the surrounding Tuscan hills. Around the pool there are sun loungers that provide a wonderful location to enjoy the views while soaking up the warm Tuscan sun. Sun loungers surround the pool. In the grounds of San Romolo there is a stone built oven and BBQ. The garden offers several areas to relax outside.

 

 

On entering the house to your left you find a sitting area that opens into a larger lounge. In this room there is SAT TV and a CD player. At the end of the lounge there is a small hall off which you find a double bedroom and a small bathroom with open shower.

A few steps down from the lounge there is a fully equipped kitchen that includes gas hobs, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven and washing machine. In this room there is a dining table that seats 10. From the kitchen there is access to a furnished terrace ideal for meals al fresco.

The first floor has 3 bedrooms all with wonderful views of the Tuscan countryside. Two of the bedrooms are doubles and one is a twin. This floor is paved with parquet. There are 2 bathrooms that have showers.

 

Also on the property is a small studio that comprises a living area with kitchenette, double bedroom and bathroom with shower. There is access to the garden and a small terrace. San Romolo is attached to another villa but there is still privacy in the gardens, terrace and by the pool.
